Ton-Down 3 - Racer Registration

 

What is a ton-down race you ask? The Ton-Down Race pays homage to the "Ton-Up Boys" who had a common goal of doing "the ton" on their cafe racer style motorbikes (going over 100mph). The Ton-DOWN is a race to see who can go the SLOWEST on their motorcycle.

Participants will have their names drawn from a hat for a head-to-head challenge of racing as slow as possible down our laneway here at the shop. It's a single elimination bracket style competition.

Don't want to participate? It's a JOY to watch. We'll also have food and drink vendors and finish it up with some live music! It's a party. Come cheer on the participants and check out some really cool motorcycles while you're at it. 

The Rules:

- Once the race starts, you have to keep your feet off the ground. If you touch the ground, you're out! 

- You have to go forward (it is a race by golly!). Zig-zagging is fine, as long as you stay in your lane. 

- Have fun!
